For about twenty years, Allianz has chosen the Kofax Communication Server solution for the management and transmission of corporate fax and SMS messages. Over the last few years, the platform has been redesigned, focusing on the following points:

• Adoption of FoIP technology (50 FAX channels) for receiving and sending FAXes (no additional hardware to manage, relying entirely on the existing over IP infrastructure)
• Integration with the new Microsoft Exchange 2013 architecture
• Active Directory integration for automatic user import into the KCS system
• Using our UMES solution for sending SMS messages
• Replacement of the traditional archiving system through the use of a connector that allows the archiving of incoming and outgoing faxes to the Allianz document system
